The birth of the non-political

With the arrival of tangentopoli change the face of Italian politics. The years 1992-1994 saw a radical change in the parliament, historical parties leaving the Italian political scene and new political movements come for the first time in parliament.

DC, PSI, PSDI, PLI and PRI: some of them disappear, others are reorganized. What first ruled Italy since the Second World War was in opposition or outside parliament.

born Forza Italy and arrived in Parliament, the Northern League, the MSI became the National Alliance for the first time we get a government with ministers on the right (or as some say, "fascists"). Disappears the Italian Communist Party that turns into a PDS and parties for years that follow they will arrive directly to communism is not the government or have marginal role.

But beyond the change of initials and what policy changes in our policy?

Change one thing, in my opinion, no small feat: respect. Is less respect for the institutions to the political opponent and to politics. The Italian civil society has no respect for the institutions that administer and govern Italy. This lack of respect is done daily on all media. But the first

set a bad example to the politicians. The second republic gives us insults, slapping and spitting. Brawls in parliament with throwing objects, displays of jerseys and banners with slogans and insults at his opponent, mortadella flying to Palazzo Madama. Then came a crisis of government because they are caught racks and spokesman for road trans, as well as regional presidents who resign for video and still partying with trans. Members who snort cocaine, revels in government buildings and travel around the world at the expense of the state. The scandals that had become cross-cutting alliances scandals pink ... but the Italians wanted to own this as a second republic?

From clean hands the hopes of a better Italy seems to disappear.

We have to wait a second revolution (if that can be called "clean hands")? Maybe that is cultural and not by the chambers of the courts.

Angles In Real Life Project

The country of plenty

last election before a long pause. The regional examination for many parties, large and small. Claims and expectations: some want so, who hopes to grow and those seeking a ransom.

After many difficulties all parties come election day: lists submitted late, order interpretation, signatures and symbols. The difficulty of this election will never forget.

Before the vote everyone sure of victory after the vote and all have won ... this is our country, our politics and our politicians and its ruling class. Italy is a country happy, everybody wins and nobody loses. The center-right won because they went from 2 to 6 regions. The center-left won because confirmation of 7 regions against 11 five years ago. The Northern League wins for the first time that governs the two regions. Fini idem (Lazio and Calabria) or so they say ... make the public the message that Scopelliti and Polverini respond to political and personal ends. The far left wins it confirms Vendola governor in Puglia. Because the People's Party won in 8 regions out of 13 entered in the councils Regional (participating in some regions with the center-left and other to the center-right, but overall consistency can be lost ...). The IDV wins because it confirms the votes obtained in the previous year. I could go with the smaller parties, but just change the code, the result does not change, they also won. Everybody has won and nobody lost. This is what we have said and described the political or assumed.

My view is that the only party to have won the Northern League is and that this round of elections is a good lesson to all politicians and political scientists who think that Italy and the Italians want to accept and bipartisanship. They have demonstrated that the PD and the PDL in policy 2 +2 does not equal 4.

You can not do the sum of two parts: The Union (electoral cartel between DS and Margherita) from its election results in 2006, rose 31.2% to 26% as a single party (PD) and the elections that the 2009 European regional 2010, the PDL in 2006 had a potential of adding 36% to 23.7% and Italy 12.3% Force of the National Alliance and now as a single party (PDL) is found with the 26.7 %. Who wins is the Northern League and IDV: to have two big parties in opposition brings the Italians to vote for minor parties and this should make you think of what the Italians do not want bipartisanship. These parties are not based on solid foundations and ideals but on personalities and power plays. In joining instead of keeping the good one and other, end up becoming a hybrid between two parties that bring cultural baggage as all that should be eliminated in the merger.

Another fact is the significant drop in turnout, from 72% to 64%. The Italians have decided that they do not want this political class to represent them. This is the most important outcome of the election and that it should be emphasized. The political class must nominate to represent the people and should not have the sole purpose of enriching their own pockets. Finding this election result, both right and left, should be alarmed and start doing a mea culpa seriously analyzing its function.

My analysis is probably debatable, but certainly I did an analysis on the voting propinataci truer than in these days, I expressed a thought on what is the problem of bipartisanship, a matter that many have complained in the past and now silent. The silence and certainly doing good is good only for this policy, who does not want to do good for the country and those who interpret their parliamentary mandate, rather than to represent the people and fighting to improve their land, interpret its mandate as a 'opportunity for social advancement and enrichment to the detriment of the poor. The state of politics is not simply to achieve a status that exempts from liability, as well as political and even legal ethics. The country of plenty, that's what our Italy today.
