Francantonio Granero has opened a case against unknown persons for the frequent cancellations of services in the beginning of Savona. The judge also wants to understand the dynamics that cause late or overcrowded trains in the days when the load is increased (as the weekend) and the difficulties in obtaining refunds of tickets. The Prosecutor opened an investigation assuming the crime of interruption of public service. tam tam on Facebook and the press finally also the judge has decided to open a file and to see clearly situations because of deterioration, dirt, overcrowded carriages and above continued delays and problems were often never definitively resolved.
The Committee welcomes the initiative of Western Trenitalia Members of the magistrate, and hopes that the investigation is moving forward, identifying specific responsibility for a situation that, with the absurd often overcrowded train with no air conditioning running, it creates security problems, health and even public policy for the constant bickering between passengers and railway personnel sent into the fray!
